Pens and Pencils

The pens, pencils and letter openers pictured on this page are examples of custom designs that are hand crafted on a wood lathe.  They are decorated with pyrography, stains and dyes and finished with lacquer and friction polish.  Each set  is unique in wood grain and decoration.  While these are not for sale, custom sets or individual pieces can be made in any of the woods shown or in other exotic and domestic hardwoods such as African Blackwood, Bocote, Brazilian Cherry, Ebony, Honduras Mahogany, Birdseye Maple, Curly Maple, Quilted Maple, Honduras Rosewood,  and Wenge.  Prices range from $20.00 for a single slim-style pen to $95.00 for a set of three European -style pieces in exotic woods.
